WYSIWYG: 3”x2” Aquacultured Atlantic live rock w/15+ polyps of “Hidden Cup Coral” ( Phyllangia americana).
This is a ahermatypic, azooxanthellate, coral that obtains it’s daily nutrition through constant zooplankton capture and consumption, therefore must be target fed daily to thrive.
Although generally prohibited from harvest this non-photosynthetic Atlantic stony coral is one of the most common of all stony corals to settle on aquacultured rock in the Gulf of Mexico.
The rock pictured is a prime example of what we are show-casing here at ARA.
We are not interested in selling you pounds and pounds of Atlantic live rock with a few polyps here and there, But “cherry picking” our sites for premium specimen settlement, and offer something a little bit different to our customers.
Origin: Atlantic / Florida Keys / Gulf of Mexico
